The name JUMARIE was born from two extraordinary women, my grandmothers, Juliette, may she live long, and Marie of blessed memory. Women of strength, stability, and quiet power. They immigrated to Israel from Paris and Morocco, walked a path filled with hardship and challenges, yet remained steadfast. Women who raised children, managed everything alone, created with their hands, sewing, knitting, often giving up their own dreams for family. And yet they never broke. They always stood steady and strong, like a horse against the wind.
I am Sapir, their granddaughter. Everything I am today, I took from them. The strength. The stability. The ability to stand even in the hardest moments and not break. JUMARIE is their direct continuation, my way of carrying forward their story. It is a fashion house born from memory, roots, and the desire to fulfill the dreams they had to give up, creating something that carries their spirit within it.
